TRASTEVERE

Introduction
Trastevere is a typically Roman neighbourhood, literally on the other side of the Tiber. The heart of the neighbourhood is formed by the Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere, after the magnificent church that faces the square. Trastevere is a maze of alleyways and squares, stuffed with craft shops and excellent trattorie, typical Roman restaurants.
